Dinnner/Lecture Series

Client Objective:

Increase interest in specific pharmaceuticals among nursing home care and Geriatric physicians in targeted markets throughout the United States.

BEC coordinated the planning and execution of dinner/lecture series to discuss the interaction of certain pharmaceuticals in a nursing home and Geriatric patient settings.

BEC coordinated:

  • Chose twelve major markets for each lecture, based on host physician availability and audience availability in each major city. (Host physicians worked with our network of physicians to bring their local peers to events.)
  • Ensured attendance from local professionals (averaged 44 health care professionals at each event for 2003-2004. See maps.)
  • Worked with speakers to refine their presentations and materials.
  • Created and distributed signage, invitations, handouts, booklets, cd-roms and other materials for each event.
  • Professionals received Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
  • BEC provided follow-up mailers for each event.

Conclusion for 2003-2004 lectures:

  • Averaged 44 health care professionals at each event.
  • Averaged 30 MDs, GNPs, Physicians Assistants at each event.
  • Overall revenues for elected pharmaceutical prescriptions increased for this year.
